PS3 hands down. I have both the Wii and 360, but only because Im not willing to spend the bones on a ps3 till it drops. Dont get me wrong I love my 360, the Wii fucking blows donkey dick.

Personally i say go with the Wii, its the best system ive played and ive got all of them (pre-current next gen consoles)

Basically it depends on what you wanna do, if you wanna get active and not be sitting on your ass working your thumbs all day and want to get physical, id definately suggest the Wii. It caters to all people, if they play games or not, if you have guest over that dont play games, let them try it and im sure they would like it.

It comes down to the Wii is a party system.

but if your willing to shell out the cash for a ps3, id actually just buy both a Wii and xbox for the same price. PS3 has nothing going for it other than a really expensive firehazard that will stop working in about 2-6 months anyway.

For me I would by the wii or the xbox360 pretty decent game for those, and plus just wait a few years and the ps3 will go down to much money righ tnow for it... Thats what im doing

I say , Buy a X-Box or a Wii.

Both look f*cing good and I played both of them and I really enjoyed but Halo3 is coming out on the 360 and I'm a big fan of the halo series so... I'll go for the 360 but Wii is good too... and for the ps3... just see others post they all read in my mind ...

I didnt read the other posts but this is really a hard choice

If you hav ethe money i say go PS3 alll the way

If you Dont have a ton of monet go 360

And if you just love Game systems that die out in a year go Wii

The PS3 has nothing negative really except for price.

The 360 Makes you pay and extra 200$ for the HD movie add on which would make it the same price as a PS3

Its a toss up also when it comes to what you hav ealways played.I have always had a PS for as far back as i remeber. And im not a huge fan of the 360 controls but the games look so good i am willing to learn lol.

So theres no clean answer in my book.

i'm leaning towards the 360 right now just because it has such a great game library already, while wii and ps3 dont have much available at the moment...

They all have there ups and downs as people have already stated.

Cons: (from what i have seen/read)

1. 360, have to fork up the extra cash for the hd drive. And every so often it freezes up randomly, but not to often.

2. Ps3, alot of the games have framerate issues. Excpecially the games that say "no loading areas" Instead of not loading it just chops/lags up really really bad.

3. Both 360 Ps3 there are not alot of good games out(compared to the games comming out in the future/fall later this summer).

4. Wii games are okay. Its not even as powerfull as the original xbox. So i guess that will make it harder for game designers to make better games.

My Choice: Go with the 360. It may not be as powerful as the ps3 but it seems to have a all around better setup/better games. A lot of the games that have came out for all 3 systems, the one that comes out on the 360 usually has a better rating then the ones that come out on a ps3 and the wii. I dont own a ps3 or a wii but i have played both of them. They are both enjoyable. It depends on what you like. Ps3 is almost the same as the 360, while the wii is just the same old nintendo with all the childish games.

I would say, right now, the 360 because it has good games in all genres (FPS: Halo2 (lol YES it counts), Shooter: Gears of War, Racing (Forza 2 or DiRT or Burnout, etc.), RTS: C&C3/BFME, RPG: Oblivion) and much more good shit coming out (Halo 3 (exclusive), GTAIV, Mass Effect (exclusive), Assassin's Creed, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men, & many more).

XBOX Live is really cool, works well, nice arcade games to download (Doom! Worms! etc!), you can download movies in SD or HD and tv shows (southpark, colbert report, etc.) for M$ points.

It's not too expensive, and the HD Drive is probably a waste of money as Blu-Ray will probably seal the deal on HD-DVD any month now at which point Microsoft could make a Blu-Ray drive for 360, who knows.

Customizable faceplates.

The ps3 also has lots of good stuff but as I see it now there's not enough games out there to make it worth the money, but a few months down the road, one price drop down and with the release of some good shite the ps3 should compete with the 360 a whole lot better.

And I just hate the wii, I think nintendo fucked themselves, at least in the short term. Maybe some good stuff will come out for it later, who knows.

Some people do hate it. But it is the hardest system to get because people buy them so fast. Same with the DS. Nintendo is making a lot of money. Unlike sony

ya each system has games i really want:

ps3 - final fantasy's and other square enix exclusives, resistance: fall of man

360 - gears of war, halos

wii - zelda twilight princess, super paper mario

but right now it just seems that with their year head start xbox has so much more out there right now then the others....

Also remember that the first gen games that came out for the Wii, are all designed to be easy. You can't develop something like this, make the games crazy, and draw in an audience at the same time. It won't work, and it would fail.

I'm waiting for late this year/next year's games to really push the envelope. It's too early to speculate.

I have both, and i must say im extreamly impressed, Ive been a huge Zelda fan since the origional Zelda way back when, and i have praised Ocarina of Time for years as being the # 1 Zelda game ever created. With the release of Twilight Princess on the Wii, i can safely say that it is the best Zelda game to date, all the old fun of Ocarina of Time, but with so much more, and a great story line. If you get a Wii definately pick that one up.

im really anticipating the release of Super Smash Bros: Brawl later this year, its gonna have all the previous characters plus many new faces to the game, its gonna be fun. I even still play the old N64 and Gamecube versions, they never get old

Like Thrax said about the 360 with xbox live you can roll online for 50 bucks per year and chat with your friends and whoever whenever you want. If you were gonna gete an xbox get the new elite one with like an extra 100 gigs of memory because with live when you download all that shit you take up alot of hardrive space.

My DS Lite plays games over the internet wirelessly against other people. Also, has the browser you can use too I think. PSP doesn't have very many good games out there for it. I was going to buy one and then compared the games to both. DS won hands down.

While the Wii has inoovative controls which are slugish and very unresponsive 80% of the time, it has the fun factor. Graphicly looks like something out of a 90's sci fi movie before CGI. PS3 also has innovative controls and suffers from a lack of a library and price range which will be changing before christmas. 360 had a huge headstart like the ps2 did when it came out.

XBox has already mentioned aborting the hddvd addon and go with blue ray, they already said they are not gonna make any games in HDDVD. You have to wait 1 year after the last released system and then you can get a better feel for the systems. I love my 360 and hate my Wii. I honestly play my dreamcast more than either of the 2.
