how do you delete the "fire in the hole" file?

You need to create a blank wav file named: ct_fireinhole.wav

and put it in:

c:\Program Files\Steam\Steamapps\YourSteamName\counter-strike source\cstrike\sound\radio\

I figured I'd get a lot of questions on making a blank sound file. So I made one for you. The easiest thing to do, if you want to know, is to mute your mic, open Start > Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder, click the Record and then Stop buttons and save it.

Hello, I can not seem to find the file name (radio). Found everything up to that. My only options it gives me is:
admin_plugin
bombtimer
dbrealm
funsounds
lastman
ql
schu
uB_sounds
badserver
cleverpig
de_dustmas2
gungame
misc
quake
tmc
zh

are the only files under,

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\ryanbastian\counter-strike source\cstrike\sound

It would be nice not to have that 'fireinthehole' played every single second.

You won't have it no, but you still need to create the folder and put the file where I said. It will replace the default sound.

That's how "radio packs" replace the default sounds as well.

Sure, you can replace any of the default radio sounds as long as you put a .wav file in there with the right name. I think FPSBanana has some Radio Packs already made though.
