Modern Warfare 2 PC Freeze?

My game was working fine the past 2 days then tonigh tmy game just freezes on the menu. You can't do anything... i waited and nothgn happened.

Apperently this is a common issue. I tried rebooting and it fixed it the first time, but when i exited and tried to play again later, it wold freeze, and has been freezing even after rebooting. Any ideas why infinity ward is being so fucking gay? I tried a lot of suggestions already, such as rebooting, admin, and disabing steam community. Nothing works. sigh..

sounds like something with the video card.  I would update drivers, if you updated drivers before the problem, maybe roll back drivers.

Update windows too.

Buy a computer that can run the game.  Not a old 486.

Yeah, update graphics drivers. Disable Anti Virus, disable firewall. Same fixes as always.
