Driver!!!!! Help!!!!

Ok, so my mom gave me her old laptop since mine took a shit. It was extremely slow running Vista so a buddy from work gave me Windows 7. I installed it, and I cannot seem to find a driver anywhere for this: Hitachi hts541612j9sa00 Mass Storage Controller. Any help is much appreciated.

I'm not sure, but best thing to do is go to the manufacture's website....  Is it a gateway?  If so go to gateway and look up the laptop.  Most of the times they have the drivers there for it.

you can use the vista driver on win7 it'll work just fine.
