pretty much. they wont ban you for a low ratio but I wouldn't be THAT bad of a hit and runner.

My ratio actually froze at 1.5 a little over 2 years ago at demonoid. Its pretty cool.

I keep my revo at around 4, used to be 8 but I got a lil lazy...... people always expect to get something for nothing, rage you loser.  BUt its good to hear Demon isnt as strict because I know uploading isnt the easiest to do, but always try to upload atleast 100% of each file you download, its just good net sense to do so and not be a douche and hit and run.

Agreed.  I always make sure to seed at least 100%.  Utorrent has a scheduler so you can set it up to only seed at night when you're asleep and with laptops and netbooks there is no excuse not to seed.

Sometimes it just doesn't upload. I always leave my stuff going a couple days after it finishes downloading and I almost never see upload speeds above 20kB/s and I'm not gonna let it sit there for 4 weeks to get to 1.00 thats too much of a hassle.

I upload 100 - 150 percent if there are leechers. If there aren't any that leech from me, I'll just let it go. If its something legit, I'll usually keep it open for 500 percent or more.

It depends on what I'm downloading.  Somethings I seed to 1.0+, but things I'm nervous about getting caught uploading (like what happened with NBC the other day) I prefer to just hit and run.  Other things, like music that I know isn't popular and can be hard to get I'll seed for quite a while.

But my biggest issue is that sometimes I'm seeding something for weeks, and despite there being a bunch of leechers, it just doesn't upload and I can't get my ratio up at all.  That has been my biggest problem w/ RevoTT.  I've been seeding 3 files since just after new years, and I'm still not up to 1.0 with them.

For RevoTT ratios, I suggest that you find the most popular thing out and seed it.

Yeah, they got to be in your hub. Also, selecting "SuperSeed" will severely hurt your sharing ability and I certainly wouldn't recommend it to get your ratio up. I just click the main page, click leechers (to sort by most leechers), then torrent. That usually takes care of it.

What do you mean "in your hub?"  And I've never even seen "SuperSeed" let alone selected that.  Why does it hurt your sharing ability?

I guess the torrenting term is Swarm, but its the same thing in p2p as a hub. Anyway, SuperSeeding is for starting to seed a torrent. So it only uploads certain parts until it uploads 100%, but doesn't upload any extra copies of pieces, so it can be slower, but because it is only given pieces needed to allow others to seed the torrent without requesting another piece someone else has (and slowing down the process) then SuperSeed is only good to do when you have all of the pieces and you are the only seed.
