they fixed it but earlier today they had the E-2 Hawkeye labeled as an E-3 Sentry.  I wanted to email them but couldn't figure out what their address was.

AMAR? Its been on there since...well since Google Earth came out! I don't know about now, but people had the planes labeled in Google Earth already.

According to the article the high res images weren't on Google Maps until recently.

I was staying just a couple blocks away from here which is why I discovered it.  I asked my friends and they weren't exactly sure why it was like that, but they think it has something to do with something that dates back to WWII.

The scrambled image? It's just really low res. Probably done that way at the request of whoever owns whatever is there. You can do that with Streetview too. Just send google and email, and they'll block your house from view.

Obviously it has been blocked for a reason.  I was being facetious.  It's the only place where I have actually seen them do that.
