You know, 3D printing people and playing PUBG (or losing weekends to Civ with the gf) is usual these days. How's life DTP!?

Yep, planning to share with my intensely beer snobbish partners to see if they'd like to get one. Seems like something the office should have, right?

Is that better? I turned my admin abuse up a level!
More admin abuse is always better

Yay not being dead yet!
Lame for losing domain names--that shit could have bought you a computer.
I managed to quit DotA cold turkey in Feb... got my life back just in time to start playing PUBG. Never did manage to get much into League.

Highly unlikely that the metal stud is load bearing (structural vs. used to hang drywall), so it probably won't help you here.
I wonder if you could offset the mount (black) to use the stud (brown) on the visible side of the TV, then use lumber (brown) to reach the other stud. Basically extending the wall mount. If you have a nice piece of aluminum or something you could make it pretty, but that part wouldn't necessarily be visible anyway.

Holy awesome Double Dragon!!! I always loved that game growing up.
Almost finished Oregon Trail and hit the refresh accidentally, that was unfortunate.

...my dad cut a piece of wood and screwed it on top of the two studs and then placed the wall mount over it so it'd be secured.
This is actually a pretty great solution.
Otherwise there are some beefy options like this: http://www.amazon.com/MI-310B24-Articulating-32-60-inch-extended-suitable/dp/B002CTP6JM
. Seems pretty legit and is way on sale, with articulation in horizontal and vertical direction, too.

Couldn't have been me--I would have made the save. Badass kick though.

It's all about the .a 2
I've played all the MoBAs and settled here, but that's just my preference. Knives says LoL is prettier, so there's that. Mechanics of .a just always seemed to win out over the others.

I can be flexible after next Friday, I put votes in for that weekend but weekdays are fine after that.

You can count me in for sure. I just submitted my dissertation and I defend at the end of next week. I think that means more game time is on the horizon...
Also, I'll try and take it easy on you guys.

Anyone out there playing this Diablo spoof? It's free-to-play and I've put a good deal of time in. I definitely recommend it if you were disappointed with D3 but want something in the genre.
The skill system is great. All characters share the same passive skill web(which is massive); each character type starts in a different region of the web. During the game, you pick up socketable gems that contain the active skills you use. The gems can be unsocketed and re-socketed for free and they level with your character.
Economics and crafting is interesting in its own right, no gold involved which is interesting. You also share a stash across all characters, a nice touch.
The "story" has more of a Diablo 2 feel than the clusterfuck that was D3, so that was a plus.
I'm currently favoring a lvl 40-something blood mage (using health to cast spells rather than that mana stuff) and it has been a blast.

I got it the day after release. It's dramatically improved since day one.
I've skilled enough to try covert missions now, but the glitchyness still makes it a coin toss. I spent 45 minutes sneaking the frame job last mission only for a guard to tweak out and draw his gun at nothing on the other side of the map, ruining everything. No broken cameras or dead bodies or anything, either, I dragged all the bodies back to the roof.
Otherwise, I've enjoyed it, even if it is crazy unrealistic.
PvP would be sweet... maybe you'd have to do a deal or work a job together? Or raid another gang's safe house?
